At Neighbourhood Dental, our dental assistant team are multi-talented health care professionals with an extremely varied knowledge base. With their technical and clinical skills, they are able to perform a variety of tasks effectively and efficiently. Their training, education, and experience, along with their provincial registration and licensing, make them qualified to perform a multitude of supportive and direct patient care procedures.
Our dental assistants look after each patient’s comfort and help with updating patient health histories. Intraoral dental assistants help perform a variety of clinical procedures, assisting our dentists with the administration of anesthesia, general dentistry, and specialty procedures. They perform preventative as well as Prosthodontic procedures, along with post-treatment care. They also offer post-operative care, oral care, disease prevention, nutritional counseling, and dental health education to our patients.
